RHY Senior Outreach Coordinator

Salary / Wage: Dependent upon Experience

Description:

To engage and work effectively with runaway/homeless youth and those at risk of running or becoming homeless on the street and in the community. Be able to assess needs and apply appropriate interventions/make needed referrals to appropriate community resources. Ability to provide limited oversight/coordinate activities of AmeriCorps members/volunteers under the supervision of the program director. Ability to maintain documentation and records as required. Be able to collaborate and coordinate with other service providers as appropriate. Be able to maintain appropriate boundaries in a variety of settings and situations. Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree in Human Services or related field, two years experience in RHY programs and completion of all required training. Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in case management direct services to youth, ages 12-17, and their families. Current knowledge of the runaway/homeless youth culture. Understanding of rules and regulations in Wisconsin related to serving runaway/homeless youth. Demonstrated ability to organize and implement quality youth programming.

ARMHS Mental Health Practitioner

Chemical Dependency Counselor – Douglas County – Superior, WI

Salary / Wage: Dependent Upon Experience

Screening, Assessment, Intake, Orientation, Group Counseling, Individual Counseling, Crisis Intervention, Treatment Planning, Education/Prevention, Community Referral, Discharge/Aftercare Planning, and Evaluation of Effectiveness in an outpatient setting while working within a multi-disciplinary team.

 

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Wisconsin State Certification as a SAC or CSAC, or eligibility for a Substance Abuse Counselor or Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor and/or a reciprocal level credential from another qualifying state.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with adolescents and adults in a substance abuse outpatient and/or inpatient setting, along with experience working with mental health issues. Provide assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy and crisis services to primarily adults in a community mental health center. Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, work with agencies within the county, attend training as requested and participate in 24-hour crisis line. Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Therapist needed for HDC--office located in Douglas County, Wisconsin. Requires Licensure as a mental health professional (LPC, LMFT or LCSW) and therapy experience.

Accounting/Payroll Clerk – Douglas County

Salary / Wage: Dependent on Experience

Description:

Record all incoming checks, remits, receipts. Retrieve electronic remits for various insurances. Distribute insurance payments to billing team. Prepare deposits. Use online banking systems and HDC’s general ledger accounting system. Balance/reconcile general ledger cash activity to patient billing system entries. Prepare daily and monthly cash reports. Prepare bi-weekly payroll submissions for 3rd party payroll processor and journalize payroll activity in the general ledger. Calculate and journalize monthly payroll accrual. Reconcile general ledger amounts to payroll system. Perform other accounting duties as assigned. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer. Must have general knowledge of computers and experience with general ledger accounting. Occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications:

Associates degree in Accounting or related field or two years relevant accounting experience.

Children’s Mental Health Case Manager/Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports Practitioner – Duluth, MN

Assist families in accessing necessary services to meet mental health issues of children ages 0-18. Provide individual, group, and family skills training based on the treatment plan. Goals of the program are to improve the functioning of children in home, in school and in the community. Requires flexible scheduling and some evening work in order to meet with families in their homes. Great opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, psychologists, and child psychiatry.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and at least one year’s, post Bachelor’s experience providing mental health services to children (2000 hrs), or Master’s degree in human services completed or in progress. Ability to conduct and teach therapeutic skills in an individual, group, and family setting. Must be able to follow clinical direction of mental health professional and tailor skills services to unique needs of the child. Must be able to effectively teach social skills, independent living skills, emotional regulation, and basic parenting skills. Ability to work with schools, children, and families to address mental health issues. Good verbal and written communication skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working collaboratively with a mental health team. Experience teaching and/or providing mental health services to chronically stressed families.
