| Description | DUTIES: Serve as Project Coordinator to the School-Linked Mental Health Services (SLMHS) program in the schools of Carlton County. This position expedites the effectiveness of this school-based therapy program, responding to the needs and concerns of the schools and the therapists involved in the program. Assures the program’s success through management of referrals, securing of all necessary signatures to allow therapy to initiate, keeping schools informed of referrals’ progress, recordkeeping and reporting on all services, public relations and troubleshooting with the schools, therapists and clients served, and other duties related to the success of the program. | Qualifications | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and 2000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of mental illness, or 6000 total hours of supervised clinical mental health experience; valid driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, flexible hours as needed to meet the duties of the position. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in providing services to children and families, in working in the school setting, in coordination of programs, competence with reporting and spreadsheets. Ability to work independently and to be proactive in anticipation and prevention of problems. Knowledge of community resources in Carlton County. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

| Description | DUTIES: Position available on our 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Response team serving Duluth and southern St. Louis County. Opportunity to be part of a creative multi-agency, multidisciplinary mobile team providing crisis assessment, intervention, and short term stabilization to adults experiencing a mental health crisis. Will work with hospitals, law enforcement, social services, and other community agencies. Requires being on call one weekend and about 6 nights per month (trade off is flexible schedule.)

| Qualifications | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a 4-year human service degree and 1 year experience in mental health or 6000 hours of supervised mental health experience. Must have excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Should have a strong desire, and willingness to work with diverse populations. Must have own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and valid auto insurance.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in crisis response, working with adults with mental illness and vulnerable adults, knowledge of community resources, ability to be flexible and adaptable in a wide variety of situations.

| Description | SUMMARY: This is dual position. Case Managers maintain responsibility for a designated caseload, coordinating and providing services for adult clients who have been diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness and operate under the guidelines of the Targeted Case Management rules established by the Minnesota Department of Human Services. The Mental Health Practitioner portion will work with both adults and children who have mental health problems. They will provide community support services through the ARMHS, CTSS, and/or outreach programs.
DUTIES: Accept assigned referrals (both adults and children), complete functional assessment and treatment plan with client and/or parent, arrange and coordinate needed client services in areas of mental health, housing, employment, transportation and other basic needs, transport clients as needed, teach recovery management skills, work cooperatively with other service providers and coworkers, complete progress notes and other duties as required by law. Have knowledge of, and be able to teach skills related to coping, relapse prevention, and basic household and living skills. Assessing needs and applying interventions appropriately. Be able to maintain appropriate boundaries in a variety of settings and situations. Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues.

Good time management skills along with the ability to be self directed and disciplined while applying creative solutions to difficult problem situations. Knowledge of crisis assistance.
