We provide specialized assessment of memory problems, including possible dementia. Patients are seen by our collaborative team of Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and Geriatric-Neuropsychiatric Psychiatrist. Additional assessment by a psychologist is available as needed. Our older adult team visits a large number of nursing homes in Carlton, St. Louis, and Lake Counties, as well as assisted living settings and brain injury programs. We also provide specialized consultations for adults with adjustment problems connected with neurological disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Epilepsy, brain injury, and developmental disability.

We provide consultations and ongoing services for older adults with depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems associated with aging and physical health problems. Initial evaluations are typically done by a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric expertise, in collaboration with our Geriatric Psychiatrist.
