Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program
ACT provides the most intensive community services available. Services are provided to persons with serious mental illness (SMI) or serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) diagnoses referred by St. Louis County or Carlton County Social Services’ mental health units. Services are available 7 days a week, and include medication management, psychiatry, case management, substance abuse treatment, crisis intervention, employment support, independent living skills training, and housing support. Services are based on the individual needs of the client and are provided primarily in the individual’s home.
